“ Since I moved to Gloucester years ago I've been looking for a good chinese - I am happy to say I've finally found an amazing one! Better than any other I've had both in and out of Gloucester. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The customer service was great - really lovely staff from the get go. They were upfront about being busy so said it'd be about an hour - they ended up being early, only around 40 minutes. I appreciated the fact they were honest about how long it would take, others may have overpromised and underdelivered - but Golden City did it right. Even the prices are far more reasonable than most takeaways in Gloucester. Only way it could be better is if you could order for ASAP through the website (instead of over the phone), but I understand why if they're often busy. Our new favourite takeaway - 100% would recommend. ”

On a more serious note, it is the best Chinese food place that I have been to by a lot and I have been to many. I would suggest getting Chinese food from here over any other place. Also, there is so much choice on what you can get and each one is as good as the others. ”
